Overview

Support the implementation of the "Inclusive Services and Opportunities (ISO) for Human Capital Development and Livelihood" project, focusing on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Bangladesh.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Work plans and Budget, in collaboration with NGO implementing Partners (IP) and Project Implementation Unit (PIU)/MOWCA.
  • Support the day-to-day implementation of the ISO project interventions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to NGO implementing partners.
  • Coordinate the field-level implementation of GBV referral pathways.
  • Coordinate and maintain continuous liaison with NGO IP.
  • Support National Progarmme Officer- Gender for implementing GBV project with DWA.
  • Collaborate closely with the PIU, MoWCA and NGO IP to plan and organize capacity-building training.
  • Assist IP in the adaptation, contextualization, and rollout of capacity-building modules and tools.
  • Administer pre- and post-training assessments for participants and compile data.
  • Provide technical support in the localized adaptation of SOPs, guidance notes, and tools for GBV case management.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports to the government.
  • Maintain progress trackers for planned capacity-building activities.
  • Ensure Result based monitoring and track the progress, both program and financial.
  • Conduct regular monitoring field visits to project sites.
  • Assist the Communications team by identifying and drafting success stories.
  • Perform any other relevant activities or responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in development or population activities, with specific experience in project support, capacity development, or tracking budgets/programmes. Practical experience supporting the development of training, modules, or tools on life skills, or women's empowerment, gender, gender based violence (GBV) and delivery of the training. Experience in GBV case management and referral would be an added value. Clear understanding of survivor-centered approaches, ethical standards, and human rights frameworks. Experience coordinating activities or liaising with government counterparts, NGOs, civil society, and community stakeholders. Strong track record in report writing, data gathering, tracking project metrics, and developing project presentations.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Women and Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Law, International Relations, Economics or a related social science field.
