Overview
This consultancy focuses on providing simultaneous interpretation and written translation services between Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake content translation from Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese to English or English to Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese as required.
- Submit quality final translations in a timely manner.
- Provide quality simultaneous interpretation services during events conducted by UN Women or partners from English to Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese and or English to Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese.
- Fluent and easily understandable simultaneous interpretation from Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese to English or English to Tetum/Bahasa Indonesia and/or Portuguese.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of experience in translation and interpretation is required. Proven experience in working with the Government institutions and the United Nations would be an advantage.
Qualifications
Hold a high school diploma, or the equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree would be an advantage.
