Overview

Volunteer activities will involve supporting teaching staff in daily educational activities at a school. The project offers opportunities to learn and practice Spanish and carry out activities in the volunteer's native language.

Support the teaching staff in their daily educational activities. Carry out activities in their native language, providing intercultural and linguistic learning opportunities for children and staff, while promoting language diversity and cultural exchange within the school community.

Basic knowledge of Spanish is appreciated, as it may facilitate communication and integration, but it is not a requirement, and volunteers will have many opportunities to improve their language skills throughout the project.

Remuneration

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements. Volunteers will live in a shared flat in Cartagena with other volunteers. Each volunteer will have a private room to ensure comfort and privacy. The coordinating organisation will cover the rent and utility bills. The project also provides food support (€184/month), pocket money (€186/month), local transport, medical insurance, and travel costs from the volunteer’s place of residence to Cartagena and back, in accordance with programme rules.
