Overview

The consultant will enforce the Trade Simulator Interface by assisting in developing a tracking and monitoring system of barriers to trade in services in Saudi Arabia and its key partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a tracking and monitoring system of barriers to trade in services in Saudi Arabia and its key partners.
  • Refine and improve the generation of automatic briefs from running the final updated and extended GETSI developed for Saudi Arabia.
  • Prepares methodological notes, user guides, and training content to support national teams in effectively using the new trade simulation interfaces.
Required Experience

At least two years of professional experience in economic research and policy analysis, with a focus on international trade, is required. Experience in drafting technical documentation, methodological notes, and policy-oriented analytical outputs is required. Experience in the application of artificial intelligence tools for economic or trade-related analysis is required. Knowledge of programming languages (Python) is required. Experience working with international trade databases and programmatic data access tools (including APIs) is desirable.

Qualifications

A first-level university degree in Economics or Finance is required. Master's in Economics or Finance is desirable.
