Overview
Consultancy to perform a Mid-Term evaluation of the project “Strengthening access to quality primary health care services for Syrian refugees and host communities in Jordan (2024–2027)”. The evaluation will assess WHO’s contribution to strengthening equitable access to quality primary health care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Finalize the inception report of evaluation, adapt WHO Evaluation policy and implementation frameworks.
- Conduct data collection and perform data analysis using a mixed methodology approach.
- Perform in-country mission for 10 days for data collection, including key informant interviews and field visits.
- Validate evaluation outcomes through workshops and consultation meetings.
- Prepare a final evaluation report with executive summary and evaluation brief.
Required Experience
At least 10 years of experience in conducting evaluations preferably in the areas of public health/emergencies or development and experience in country-level strategic / programme evaluations, with a focus on the Middle East.
Qualifications
Minimum an advanced university degree in public health, social sciences, development, evaluation, or related field.
