Overview
The ICLA and Protection Officer Yemen Aden is responsible for the planning, implementation, and quality delivery of Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) and Protection from Violence (PfV) services in designated areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of ICLA and PfV activities.
- Develop and maintain monthly work plans for PfV and ICLA activities and track progress.
- Prepare and regularly update service mapping for providers.
- Conduct rapid assessments for new or escalating emergencies.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of ICLA and PfV activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of PfV and ICLA databases.
- Supervise ICLA and Protection Assistants in service delivery.
- Support recruitment processes and train newly recruited staff.
- Coordinate closely with other NRC CCs and departments.
- Participate in field and Hub level ICLA and PfV related coordination meetings.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community leaders, local authorities, humanitarian actors, service providers, and partner organizations.
- Act as focal point for updating the Yemen Protection Cluster service mapping and activity info.
Required Experience
- Experience in implementing ICLA and PfV activities.
- Experience in service delivery.
