Overview
Provide technical support and oversight for risk management and compliance within the country operation. This role involves identifying risks, supporting staff queries, implementing compliance routines, and conducting training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on risk status and control effectiveness.
- Support the identification of controls for high-risk issues.
- Respond to staff queries on compliance and risk matters.
- Support risk owners with updating recommendation tracking.
- Plan and implement compliance verification routines (e.g., spot-checks).
- Support CO compliance with external regulations through contract reviews and tracking regulatory changes.
- Implement training and awareness sessions on R&C topics.
- Perform online and on-site trainings on anti-corruption, SSD, COTER, Safeguarding, and data protection.
- Design and share awareness-raising material.
- Implement regular spot-checking in high-risk procedures and units.
- Prepare reports on spot-checking findings and recommendations.
- Support the coordination of external audit/spot-checking response.
- Participate in PMC meetings for low/moderate risk projects.
- Give ad-hoc support regarding anti-corruption issues.
- Support the development of frameworks for R&C issues.
- Perform any other tasks as delegated.
Required Experience
- Experience in risk management advisory and technical support.
- Experience in compliance oversight and support.
- Experience in planning and implementing compliance verification routines.
- Experience in contract reviews and tracking regulatory changes.
- Experience in conducting training and awareness raising sessions on R&C topics.
- Experience in spot-checking high-risk procedures and units.
- Experience in supporting the coordination of external audits/spot-checking.
- Experience in participating in PMC meetings.
- Experience in developing frameworks for R&C issues.
