Overview
The consultant will contribute to strengthening the capacity of selected cities to design and implement inclusive and resilient economic and financial responses to crises, and support the implementation of a capacity development cooperation programme in Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic urban resilience and spatial development assessments and technical inputs for master plans.
- Develop urban resilience investment projects, including rationale, objectives, impacts, implementation arrangements, financing options, and pre-feasibility assessments.
- Deliver capacity development and training activities on urban resilience, sustainable urban development, investment planning, and project preparation.
- Provide strategic technical assistance and on-the-job mentoring on strategic and spatial planning, planning methodologies, and institutional development.
Required Experience
Skills in both project management and design and technical aspects are required for this contract. Expertise in urban development and urban resilience is considered an advantage.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Urban Resilience, Urban Planning, Architecture or related fields
