Overview

Provide technical leadership and support to strengthen results-based management, focusing on enhancing the design and implementation of the Country Programme monitoring and evaluation framework. Analyze data and contribute to high-quality reports to inform evidence-based decision-making.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and support to strengthen results-based management.
  • Enhance the design and implementation of the Country Programme monitoring and evaluation framework.
  • Ensure robust monitoring systems are in place for high-quality data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Analyze data and contribute to the development of high-quality corporate and donor reports.
  • Support the planning, commissioning, and utilization of evaluations.
  • Work closely with government and partners to strengthen national data and monitoring systems.
  • Build the capacity of staff and partners in monitoring, evaluation, and data use.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of relevant professional work experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, or programme performance management. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, including indicators, baselines, and targets. Experience supporting programme planning processes, including annual work planning and review processes. Experience in results-based management (RBM) and performance monitoring frameworks.

Qualifications

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in social sciences, statistics, planning development, planning, and any other related fields.

Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
