Overview
Responsible for the proper handling and storage of goods in the warehouse in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory by handling, loading, offloading, checking goods, filling documentation and proceeding inspections.
- Execute picking, packing, loading and offloading keeping goods in proper location.
- Ensure goods are properly labelled and recorded in BIN Cards and system.
- Monitor and maintain temperature control items and issue reports.
- Lead daily workers for inbound/outbound and inventory counting activities.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools.
- Optimize saturation and layout by elaborating/updating floor plan and loading/offloading plans.
- Organize material layout according to warehouse saturation and floor plan.
- Maintain proper cleaning conditions of the warehouse.
- Report statistics and costs.
- Monitor and take actions to reach LOG KPIs objectives.
- Evaluate performance of ICRC staff and suppliers.
- Follow up on work-related messages and correspondence.
- Be aware of sub delegation’s objectives and maintain good relationships with internal customers.
- Collect and share information to improve Warehouse team technical knowledge.
- Pilot and/or contribute to projects.
- Represent the ICRC appropriately during activities, meetings and in the field.
Required Experience
Minimum one year's experience in storekeeping. Previous experience in a medical warehouse is required.
Qualifications
University degree, A pharmacy-related educational background is preferred.
