Overview

The Learning & Field Training Officer strengthens operational capacity of Log & Supply staff through implementation and facilitation of learning and development initiatives, focusing on field-based activities and training programmes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of FLT interventions.
  • Facilitate learning activities and workshops during FLT deployments.
  • Support learning needs identification and participant action plans.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate Applied Security training (ASCFL) activities.
  • Coordinate, facilitate or co-facilitate Field Applied Security Training.
  • Design, adapt and facilitate operational simulations.
  • Support Training of Trainers initiatives.
  • Contribute to operational preparedness and risk management learning activities.
  • Co-facilitate log security ppd
  • Support implementation and delivery of the LTT programme.
  • Facilitate selected modules according to expertise.
  • Support participant follow-up and programme improvement.
  • Support onboarding and development initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, communities of practice and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Collect lessons learned and participant feedback.
  • Promote learner-centred and participatory learning approaches.
Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain or operational support functions, preferably in humanitarian settings. Demonstrated experience facilitating operational training, particularly Applied Security training, operational simulations, coaching and/or Training of Trainers (ToT). Experience working in humanitarian organizations. Previous MSF field experience will be considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent professional experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Humanitarian Affairs, Adult Learning, or a related field.

Professional working proficiency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
French is highly desirable. Knowledge of Arabic and/or Spanish will be considered an asset.

Remuneration
For level HQ-3A positions and if the role is based in one of our offices in Spain, the salary will be at €37,346.55. If the role is finally located at one of the OCBA regional hubs, compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that hub.
