Overview

Design and deliver an ethics and integrity Training-of-Trainers programme for public officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Service and OSCEP.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a comprehensive ethics and integrity Training-of-Trainers (ToT) programme tailored to the DRC public sector context.
  • Deliver two ToT workshops for selected public officials, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Service and OSCEP.
Required Experience

A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in law, rule of law or similar area is required. Experience in providing legal and technical advisory services on anti-corruption is required. Experience in working on anti-corruption and other economic crimes, transnational organized crime, or related areas, is required. Experience working with the United Nations, or a similar international organization, is desirable. Experience with technical assistance and other interventions to support States in the implementation of international and regional treaties is desirable.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, public administration or another relevant field is required. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Fluency in French and working knowledge of English is required. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official United Nations language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an advantage.
