Conduct an independent final evaluation of Phases I and II of a climate resilience project, assessing performance, results, and providing actionable learning for future programming.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in evaluation is required. Demonstrated experience conducting independent evaluations of development programmes, preferably in multi-country or multi-stakeholder contexts is required. Proven experience applying participatory and gender-responsive evaluation approaches is required. Strong analytical and research experience related to climate change, environmental sustainability, urban resilience, or sustainable urban development is an added advantage. Experience working with an international development organizations is highly desirable.
Minimum advanced university degree (M.A or M.Sc. or equivalent) in relevant field in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Policy, Urban/Regional Planning, Environment Studies, International Development, Evaluation is required. A first degree with 2 additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
