Overview
The World Bank Group is seeking an Infrastructure Investment Analyst Intern to provide analytical, research, financial modeling, and transaction support to Investment Officers within the Latin America and the Caribbean Infrastructure Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and analyze financial models.
- Review and analyze historical and projected financial statements and other client financial information.
- Conduct industry, market, pricing benchmark, and integrity/KYC research.
- Prepare pitchbooks, client proposals, internal memos, and other written outputs.
- Review periodic financial statements, project progress reports, and other information submitted by clients.
- Provide analytical support during investment negotiations and internal approval processes.
- Support active monitoring of portfolio investments.
Required Experience
Relevant experience in a financial institution, investment banking, private equity, consulting, infrastructure company, or related sector is desirable.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, an undergraduate program, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
