Overview
The World Bank Group's Internship Program offers students a learning experience to support the World Bank Reproducible Research Initiative. The intern will assist in verifying the reproducibility of working papers and ensuring the operational status of reproducibility packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Verifying the stability of results in reproducibility packages analyzed from the PRWP series
- Checking the reproducibility of exhibits in working papers from the PRWP series
- Reviewing reproducibility packages posted in the World Bank’s Reproducible Research Repository and flagging incomplete packages or inconsistent metadata
Required Experience
General data literacy and strong attention to detail. Familiarity with the structure of empirical economics papers. Willingness to learn LaTeX (used for review reports; guidance provided). Knowledge of Stata or R is preferred but not required; no prior programming experience is necessary.
