ILO Procurement Notice: RFQ/185/2026/KUD/ROAS - Call for External Collaborator – Supporting field implementation, coordination and monitoring of ILO activities in Aleppo
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO seeks a consultant, currently based in Aleppo, to support field implementation, coordination and monitoring of ILO activities under the PROSPECTS Opportunity Fund Phase II and the EU Durable Solutions Programme in Aleppo Governorate, Syria. The consultant will coordinate with government entities, UN agencies, NGOs and private sector partners; conduct regular field visits to TVET centres, Economic Inclusion Hubs, employer premises and community hubs; support beneficiary outreach, profiling and referral into skills training, apprenticeships, career guidance, enterprise development and financial services; and maintain M&E tools and submit monthly progress reports. In addition, the consultant will follow up with partner bank branches on MSMEs referred by the project, coordinate with bank focal points to track case progress, support validation and field verification visits, and help resolve operational or documentation bottlenecks to ensure timely completion of cases. The role also includes providing operational and logistical support for trainings, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and field missions, while carrying out any other technical or operational tasks assigned to support the achievement of project outcomes.
