Overview
The intern will support the management of UNDP’s Spanish-language social media channels and digital editorial content, from drafting posts to developing creative concepts for digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, adapt, schedule and publish content for UNDP’s Spanish-language social media channels.
- Manage the Spanish-language social media editorial calendar.
- Research and identify content for adaptation and posting on Spanish-language social media channels.
- Create visual content, including graphics and short-form videos.
- Support the implementation of global campaigns and strategic events across Spanish-language social media channels.
- Assist with translating, reviewing and proofreading social media copy from English into Spanish and vice versa.
- Monitor social media performance and prepare analytics reports.
- Monitor and manage audience engagement across UNDP’s Spanish-language social media channels.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platform features and audience behaviors.
- Perform other editorial duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Proven ability to manage social media platforms and create digital content.
Qualifications
- Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school Programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree Programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent);
- Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
