Overview
Roster for Consultant national VMCCL (Vaccine Management, Cold Chain and Logistics) to support children's health and rights in Madagascar.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating cold chain inventories and assessing storage capacities
- Support for quantifying needs and developing the distribution plan for Round 1
- Training of vaccine managers and logisticians
- Supervision of Round 1 implementation
- Post-campaign inventory and stock reconciliation for Round 1
- Evaluation of Round 1 implementation
- Daily monitoring of stock levels and vaccine availability
- Support for quantifying needs and developing the distribution plan
- Supervision of Round 2
- Post-campaign inventory and stock reconciliation
- Evaluation of Round 2 implementation
- Final mission report for Round 1 and Round 2
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in vaccine and cold chain management, proven experience in polio response and SIA (Supplementary Immunization Activity) campaigns and OPV/bOPV/nOPV2 vaccines.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in health logistics, pharmacy, public health, supply chain management, biomedical engineering, or a relevant discipline
