Overview
This internship supports the implementation of the GEF's new Knowledge Management and Learning (KM&L) strategy, focusing on embedding knowledge into investments and enhancing knowledge flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate training sessions for GEFSEC on the use of Microsoft Teams Channels, SharePoint Files and other collaboration tools.
- Monitor the use of Collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint and produce periodic reports to identify usage gaps.
- Work with the Senior KM Specialist to develop a plan to incentivize the use of Collaboration tools in GEFSEC.
- Participate in the migration of legacy SharePoint Files to the new WBG platform.
- Develop a profile of networking needs for development of the GEF knowledge and collaboration platform.
- Assist with the development of knowledge sharing strategies and tools, including categories and types of knowledge products, their sources of origin, target audience and dissemination channels.
- Other ad-hoc activities derived from the KM&L program in the GEF, including those related to Information Technology.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a graduate study program in Information and Communication Technology, Knowledge Management, and Computer Science
- Proven academic, technical, and analytical background
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a complex diverse setting.
- Sound organizational and data management skills
