Overview

The World Bank Group (WBG) Integrity Vice Presidency (INT) is seeking a graduate student intern to contribute to the Complaint Development Unit's intake and assessment work. The intern will assist with reviewing and assessing complaints, preparing analyses and reports, and supporting the integration of new technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screening and assessment of complaints.
  • Document the receipt of allegations and record decisions to provide an audit trail and/or contribute to further, intelligence-based analysis.
  • Regularly report progress on complaints/cases to assist in determining appropriate action.
  • Support the Team Leads on various data analytics functions, participate in special initiatives/projects, and undertake other ad hoc assignments.
Required Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; specialized analytical software, open-source research training, and fraud detection technology familiarity is an advantage.

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of (master’s/PhD) program) in Forensic Accounting / Fraud Examination, Financial Crime, AML, and Compliance Investigations, and/or Criminology or Criminal Justice (with an Analytics Track).
