The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking to establish a roster of Paralegals and Eviction Taskforce Monitors to provide community-based legal assistance and monitor eviction risks for displaced and vulnerable populations in Somalia.
Paralegals will provide legal assistance, information, counselling, and referral services, support case identification, legal awareness raising, dispute resolution follow-up, documentation support, and referrals related to Housing, Land and Property (HLP), civil documentation, and protection concerns. Eviction Taskforce Monitors will monitor, document, and report on eviction risks, incidents, and displacement trends, support early warning and eviction prevention efforts, provide basic information and counselling services to at-risk households, and support awareness raising on eviction-related rights and procedures.
