Overview
Provides reliable and safe security services to the UNDP/PAPP Security Unit, ensuring high standards of discretion, integrity, and knowledge of protocol and security issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all UNDP/PAPP security arrangements are in place, including receiving and registering mail, searching visitors, denying access to weapons, patrolling, inspecting buildings, registering activities in logbooks, and registering UN car movements.
- Ensure all security arrangements are in place in case of emergency, including maintaining VHF radio functionality, contacting the Security Analyst about incidents, and conducting vehicle security inspections.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors, including greeting, answering questions, directing visitors, and implementing access procedures.
- Assist the Security Analyst in security requirements when requested, including working shifts, assisting with administrative tasks, and replacing the Security Analyst in their absence.
- Operate the centralized telephone system and maintain official lists, assisting staff with calls and forwarding incoming calls.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in security-related positions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma.
