Overview
Support the implementation and scaling of the CICSA project by contributing to programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project activities, with a focus on fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of new project concepts and drafting of proposals.
- Support strategic donor mapping, engagement, and fundraising efforts.
- Preparation of materials and reporting for existing and prospective donors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Unit's fundraising strategy.
- Support partner and stakeholder engagement, including communication and relationship management.
- Support donor engagement for CICSA-related activities, including preparation of materials and project reporting.
- Support the coordination of the CICSA policy component, including tendering and contracting of service providers.
- Coordinate gap analyses of energy policies and support the development of policy recommendations.
- Support the organization of multi-stakeholder policy dialogues and consultations.
- Provide direct support to the Project Manager on day-to-day project implementation.
- Support communications, event management, and outreach for CICSA pilot projects.
- Support the development and engagement of the CICSA community.
- Contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting on climate finance trends and project impacts.
- Support the Unit Head in hiring activities.
- Any other tasks as requested.
Required Experience
Prior experience working in project management and coordination support for climate finance mitigation related activities would be considered an asset. Prior experience working with UN agencies with a focus on climate change and finance is desirable.
Qualifications
Master's degree (M.A. or equivalent) in Environmental Policy, International Energy Transitions, Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, Development, International Relations, or a related field.
