Overview

The Construction Officer is responsible for providing technical support to construction activities, including planning, procurement support, and monitoring of construction works on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of construction annual workplan.
• Collaboration with UNICEF Programmes/Operations and coordination with Government counterparts.
• Preparation and review of design and technical documents.
• Support in the procurement process.
• Supervision and Monitoring construction projects.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Construction, construction management, project management, procurement, contract administration, site supervision, design and technical documentation, government coordination, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, health and safety. and any other related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) is required in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture and any other related fields.
