Overview

International consultant to provide technical expertise to design and deliver a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) for justice sector professionals in the Republic of Moldova. The role involves reviewing existing curricula, developing training materials, and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Key Responsibilities
  • Review national legal and institutional framework, studies, and training materials related to TFGBV.
  • Revise existing training curriculum for justice professionals, integrating international standards and victim-centred approaches.
  • Design a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme, including agenda, facilitator's guide, and materials.
  • Deliver the ToT programme using interactive adult-learning methodologies.
  • Develop a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for responding to TFGBV cases.
  • Ensure alignment of curriculum and SOP with international conventions and directives.
  • Prepare a final consultancy report.
Required Experience

At least 7 years of professional experience as a judge, prosecutor, criminal investigation officer, or senior legal expert in criminal justice. Demonstrated expertise in technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV).

Qualifications

Master’s degree in law and/or other related social science fields.

Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Previous experience with UN agencies or international organizations is an asset.
Contract Duration
Maximum of 20 working days, from 10 August – 15 December 2026.
Work Modality
The consultant will work remotely for preparation and drafting, with one mission to the Republic of Moldova to deliver the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme.
Remuneration
Payment will be done in one installment as a Lump Sum amount upon submission and approval by UNFPA of all deliverables and Final Activity Report.
