Overview

Provide coordination, technical, and facilitative support to the Country Team in implementing activities under the joint IOM-UNICEF Global Programme. The role will support coordination mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, reporting, and programme development.

  • Organize regional and national consultations and convenings
  • Contribute to technical programme outputs, including desk reviews, mapping and analysis of practices, gaps, and needs
  • Draft and disseminate programme documents and joint reports
  • Support the development of costed national action plans and donor reporting requirements
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in programme coordination, migration, child protection, humanitarian or development programming.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-stakeholder or inter-agency initiatives.
  • Experience organizing workshops, meetings, and regional convenings.
  • Experience working with UN agencies, NGOs, government counterparts, and international partners.
Qualifications

Bachelors in International Relations, Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Development Studies, Public Administration, International Development, or related field.

Languages Required
Excellent written and spoken English required.
Languages Preferred
Arabic desirable. Fluency in Arabic and English is highly essential; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
