Overview
The role supports the effective functioning of a multistakeholder partnership platform by coordinating governance mechanisms, managing partnerships and reporting processes, and engaging stakeholders. It also supports engagement with government institutions and UN agencies to advance collective action for youth development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and operationalisation of governance mechanisms, including the Board and Leaders Council.
- Support relationship management and engagement with partners across private sector, philanthropy, civil society, and youth networks.
- Coordinate partner reporting, stakeholder communications, and knowledge-sharing processes.
- Support the planning and delivery of high-level convenings, consultations, and partnership engagement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of partnership materials, briefing notes, presentations, and reports.
- Support engagement and coordination with government stakeholders, UN agencies, and other development partners.
- Facilitate collaboration, information-sharing, and joint initiatives across partners and stakeholders.
- Support advocacy, knowledge management, and thought leadership efforts related to youth development.
- Contribute to strengthening equity and inclusion considerations across partnerships and initiatives.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, special projects, and emerging priorities.
- Undertake other partnership, governance, stakeholder engagement, and coordination responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Partnerships, Communication, Stakeholder engagement, external relations, programme coordination, government engagement or any other related fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Science, Development Studies, Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, International relations, public policy and any other related fields.
