Overview
The Investment Analyst will support the implementation of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Services sectors’ investments and solutions work. The role involves preparing sector mappings, strategies, and management briefings, and supporting new business and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide market research and analysis, including comparator analysis, assessment of market dynamics, benchmarking, and competitiveness;
- Prepare sector mapping to identify and target potential global clients and business opportunities;
- Research prospective client companies;
- Assist in preparing sector strategies and client pitchbooks;
- Contribute to dissemination and exchange of knowledge.
- Collect market data and coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information to support financial, operational and development impact assessments;
- Analyze company financial statements and projections, build financial models, and prepare sensitivity analyses;
- With supervision from senior colleagues, coordinate with internal resources for input on relevant investment documents and analyses.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant work experience at an international investment bank, commercial bank, private equity firm, consulting, asset management firm or Manufacturing company including but not limited to electronics, machinery, automotive, chemicals, fertilizers, textile and apparel, packaging, construction materials etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as business, finance, economics or relevant industries.
