Overview
Leads efforts to deliver compelling and engaging content through the direct management of regional social media channels and the website. Provides guidance and support to staff on social media use and produces reports on content performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional digital communication strategies.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality digital content.
- Manage official social media channels.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated digital campaigns.
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars.
- Coordinate the production, review, validation, and publication of regional digital content.
- Provide technical and editorial guidance to delegations.
- Develop and promote Information as Aid content.
- Provide Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) guidance.
- Monitor digital trends, audience behaviour, and platform performance.
- Produce regular performance reports.
- Conduct continuous social listening.
- Maintain the technical integrity and security of digital platforms.
- Design and deliver capacity-building initiatives.
Required Experience
Minimum 6 – 9 years’ overall professional experience with 5 years' experience in digital communication.
Qualifications
University education in communication or related field.
