Overview
Support the implementation of a revised performance management approach and other Talent Management and Development initiatives, including Culture Transformation, Learning, Leadership Development, and Onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end implementation of the new performance management process across all Bureaus and Offices.
- Update procedures, tools, and guidance materials for the performance management framework.
- Develop and update manager toolkits, templates, FAQs, and reference materials.
- Prepare and update blended training materials, facilitation guides, presentations, and learning resources.
- Design, prepare, and conduct Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions.
- Support delivery of virtual and/or in-person training sessions.
- Design and implement a communication plan to support awareness and understanding of the revised process.
- Develop communication materials including presentations, intranet content, user guides, briefing notes, FAQs, announcements, and awareness campaigns.
- Conduct surveys and feedback exercises to gather stakeholder input.
- Support the facilitation of discussions with key stakeholders.
- Prepare summaries and analysis of survey findings and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide day-to-day implementation and advisory support during the rollout phase.
- Work with Bureaus and Offices to develop and maintain a SMART goals databank/repository.
- Provide ongoing staff support on performance management.
- Prepare periodic performance reports and analytical summaries.
- Analyse implementation trends, identify challenges and gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and organize a dedicated Performance Management intranet and resource page.
- Support the maintenance and continuous enhancement of online performance management resources.
- Provide support on assigned Talent Management & Development activities such as Culture transformation, learning, leadership development and Onboarding.
Required Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressively experience in: performance management systems and frameworks. talent Management organizational development and change management; stakeholder engagement and facilitation; and learning and capacity development. Demonstrated experience supporting performance management implementation and Talent Management initiatives. Experience within the UN system or international organizations is desirable.
Qualifications
A first-level university degree in human resources management, organizational development, business administration, or a related field. An advanced university degree (Master’s level or equivalent) in any of the above disciplines or in a closely related area is desirable.
