Overview

The consultancy will contribute to strengthening and aligning health practitioners’ regulation in the EMR, providing technical guidance and formulating strategic common frameworks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive situation analysis, including developing methodology and guidance tools, analyzing findings to identify policy-practice gaps, and developing recommendations.
  • Design and facilitate two consultations with high-level officials and stakeholders to discuss situation analysis, development of common frameworks, and agreement on these frameworks.
  • Lead the development of three common frameworks covering system elements for regulatory systems, entry to practice standards, and a common code of conduct for professional and ethical behavior, and facilitate consensus building through awareness sessions.
Required Experience

Over 10 years of relevant experience in public health, health workforce policies, planning, regulation of health practitioners. International experience is required for international consultants.

Qualifications

Minimum an advanced university degree (Master’s level or above) in social sciences, public health, health and/or health workforce policies, management.
