UN Secretariat Procurement Notice: Provision and Delivery of Weapons, Tactical Equipment and Weapon Accessories for UNSOH
Key Responsibilities
- The United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) seeks Expressions of Interest from qualified manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, and dealers for the provision and delivery of weapons, tactical equipment, and weapon accessories for the UNSOH. The requirement is intended to support operational readiness in high-risk environments and security operations. The future solicitation will cover the supply and delivery of weapons and associated tactical equipment in accordance with detailed technical specifications to be provided in the solicitation documents. All products offered shall be new, unused, of international quality standards, and manufactured by internationally recognized brands. The requirement is expected to include, but not be limited to: Weapons
- Compact 5.56 × 45 mm NATO rifles/carbines equivalent to Heckler & Koch G36C.
- Semi-automatic 9 × 19 mm NATO pistols equivalent to Glock 17 Generation 6.
- Semi-automatic 9 × 19 mm NATO pistols equivalent to Glock 19 Generation 6. Tactical Equipment and Weapon Accessories
- Tactical equipment required for security operations.
- Weapon accessories compatible with operational weapons platforms.
- Accessories supporting the installation of optics, lasers, and other operational attachments. The Contractor(s) shall be capable of delivering the goods to UNSOH Headquarters, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, under DAP Incoterms, within thirty (30) working days following receipt of a Purchase Order. UNSOH reserves the right to split any resulting award among multiple vendors and may award all or part of the requirement at its sole discretion. Specific Requirements/Information Interested vendors meeting the following criteria are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest: Technical Capability Vendors must demonstrate experience in the supply of firearms, tactical equipment, weapon accessories, military-grade equipment, law-enforcement equipment, or security products. Documentation Vendors shall be prepared to provide:
- Complete technical specifications for all offered items.
- Product brochures, catalogues, or manufacturer data sheets.
- Item photographs and illustrations for each proposed product.
- Brand name and country of origin for every offered item. Warranty The supplier shall provide a minimum twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty commencing upon receipt of goods by UNSOH. Warranty terms shall clearly explain procedures for addressing manufacturing defects and product failures. Experience Vendors should demonstrate relevant experience over the last three (3) years in the supply of:
- Firearms and weapon systems.
- Security tactical equipment.
- Weapon accessories and related operational equipment. Compliance All products offered shall:
- Be of international standard quality.
- Comply with the minimum technical specifications that will be provided in the solicitation.
