Overview

This role supports the identification and development of financing models for women food producers and agricultural workers, and aims to mobilize domestic resources to sustain and scale impact.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification and articulation of 2-3 viable financing models.
  • Conduct desk reviews and interviews with targeted financial institutions.
  • Draft and prepare concept note/s for a proposed Hub.
  • Convene a roundtable discussion with identified promising partners.
  • Develop memoranda of understanding (MOU) among financing partners.
  • Prepare presentation decks tailored for strategic government offices and potential investors.
  • Any other requests within their functional profile, as guided by the supervisor.
Required Experience

At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in public finance, development work, resource mobilization, communications/ advocacy, and/or business development is required. Experience working on gender equality, governance and development issues in the context of the Philippines is required. Experience in partnership formalization with public and private sector entities, including the development of memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and partnership models, is required. Experience in drafting and producing quality research papers and reports, project/programme development, results-based reporting, and facilitating key informant interviews (KIIs), consultations, and workshops is required. Experience working within the UN system and/or with international frameworks, norms and standards on gender equality and the Sustainable Development Goals is desirable.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, business management, social sciences, public administration, international relations, communications, women's studies, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
