Overview

Consultant required to roll out ethics manuals for young people and conduct a pedagogical review of a curriculum in Haiti.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver four training sessions of five days each for teachers.
  • Prepare detailed agendas and training materials.
  • Produce a pedagogical review report of the curriculum « Les Génies de la Bonne Gouvernance » with recommendations.
  • Submit activity reports after each session.
  • Produce a final mission report.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with a master's degree, or 5 years with a bachelor's degree, in the field of the promotion of the rule of law is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience is required.
  • Experience in the delivery of training on ethics and anti-corruption is required.
  • Experience in instructional design, in particular in the development or revision of curricula and training tools, is required.
  • Professional experience in the fight against corruption and in corruption prevention is desirable.
  • Experience of working with civil society in the field of the fight against corruption is desirable.
  • Experience in the implementation of activities in cooperation with the United Nations or a similar organization is desirable.
  • Relevant experience in working with, or in providing technical assistance to, the Government of Haiti is desirable.
Qualifications

• An advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in law, criminal justice, economics, human rights, business administration or public administration, international development, political science or social sciences or another related field, is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Knowledge of English or another official United Nations language is an advantage.
