Overview

Provide strategic leadership and technical support on immunization programmes, ensuring their integration within Primary Health Care (PHC) and strengthening health systems to deliver effective, equitable, and sustainable immunization services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the Immunization/EPI team
  • Oversee programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and results achievement
  • Promote integrated approaches across health programmes
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support throughout the programme cycle
  • Apply results-based management (RBM) principles to strengthen PHC, build resilient health systems, and improve health outcomes for children and communities.
Required Experience

At least 8 years of relevant work experience in Health, Health Care, Primary Health Care, Program Management, Policy Development, Emergency Preparedness, Partnership Building, Capacity Building. and any other related fields.

Qualifications

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Health Policy, Health Management, Pediatrics, Family Health, Global Health, Health Education, Health Research and any other related fields.
