Overview

Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of UNICEF's WASH programme in Sudan, providing technical and programmatic leadership for WASH interventions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of UNICEF's WASH programme.
  • Provide technical and programmatic leadership for donor-funded and emergency WASH interventions.
  • Ensure programme quality, compliance, and achievement of results.
  • Lead performance monitoring, coordinate implementing partners, and support infrastructure rehabilitation and service delivery.
  • Contribute to donor reporting, risk management, and results-based management.
  • Support the delivery of safe, sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient WASH services.
Required Experience

A minimum of five years of professional experience in the planning, implementation, and management of WASH programmes in developing countries is required, including experience managing donor-funded programmes. At least one year of field experience in a developing country is required. One year of deployment in a developing country is required.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: engineering, environmental science, water management, public health, social sciences, sanitary engineering, or another relevant technical field.
