Overview
Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of animal health and livestock activities, including disease surveillance, vaccination campaigns, and capacity building for various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of animal health and livestock activities.
- Conduct field assessments, identify animal health priorities, and support disease surveillance, vaccination campaigns, outbreak investigations, and emergency response activities.
- Promote good animal husbandry practices, biosecurity, animal welfare, antimicrobial stewardship, and the One Health approach.
- Organize and deliver training, field demonstrations, and capacity-building activities.
- Coordinate with veterinary authorities, research institutions, implementing partners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor field activities, collect and analyze technical data, and prepare technical reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual work plans, technical specifications, and procurement documents.
- Support the organization of technical meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of experience in sustainable animal health and livestock activities.
Qualifications
University degree in veterinary sciences, animal health and related fields.
