Overview

Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of animal health and livestock activities, including disease surveillance, vaccination campaigns, and capacity building for various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of animal health and livestock activities.
  • Conduct field assessments, identify animal health priorities, and support disease surveillance, vaccination campaigns, outbreak investigations, and emergency response activities.
  • Promote good animal husbandry practices, biosecurity, animal welfare, antimicrobial stewardship, and the One Health approach.
  • Organize and deliver training, field demonstrations, and capacity-building activities.
  • Coordinate with veterinary authorities, research institutions, implementing partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor field activities, collect and analyze technical data, and prepare technical reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual work plans, technical specifications, and procurement documents.
  • Support the organization of technical meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of experience in sustainable animal health and livestock activities.

Qualifications

University degree in veterinary sciences, animal health and related fields.

Working knowledge (level C) of Arabic, limited knowledge (level B) of English.
