Social Media Internship

Overview

This internship focuses on assisting with the management of social media accounts, content scheduling, and monitoring for an international mechanism investigating serious crimes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp)
• Schedule social media content
• Prepare drafts of social media posts
• Support the development of multimedia content
• Conduct daily social media monitoring and prepare summaries
• Support the promotion of events, reports, and campaigns
• Support the measurement and evaluation of digital outreach activities
• Prepare regular analytics reports and dashboards
• Perform other digital communications related tasks

Required Experience

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. Familiarity with social media platforms and their content formats is required. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content-creation tools is required. Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite) is required.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing or have pursued a degree in areas related to Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Development Studies or related area. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor's or equivalent), master's or Ph.D. programme or equivalent, or have completed a bachelor's, master's or Ph.D. programme.
