Overview
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the proper technical condition of office premises, furniture, equipment, and surrounding areas, carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, dismantle, adjust, and carry out minor repairs of office furniture and fittings;
- Move furniture, equipment, and other organizational assets;
- Install, dismantle, and perform minor repairs of office fixtures and interior elements;
- Carry out minor cosmetic repairs of office premises;
- Adjust and perform minor repairs of doors, windows, locks, door closers, and other fittings;
- Conduct routine inspections of the technical condition of furniture, plumbing systems, household appliances, and office premises, and arrange specialized repairs when required;
- Perform minor plumbing work;
- Carry out basic electrical maintenance within the scope of authorization;
- Assist during general cleaning activities and with the relocation of large or heavy items;
- Maintain the surrounding grounds and entrance areas in good condition;
- Perform basic maintenance of the heating system within the scope of responsibility;
- Monitor the need for maintenance materials, tools, and supplies;
- Maintain order in utility rooms and waste collection areas.
Required Experience
At least one year of experience in general maintenance and repair work; Practical experience using hand and power tools.
Qualifications
Vocational education or completed vocational training in a relevant field.
