Overview

Provide programme coordination, technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, and support for the implementation of AMCEN decisions and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the Inception report and work plan
  • Draft technical documents (briefs, reports, policy notes)
  • Prepare meeting documentation (agendas, summaries, outcomes)
  • Prepare the monthly progress reports
  • Prepare the Final report summarizing outputs and recommendations
Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in environmental policy development and associated natural resource and ecosystem management is required.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Law / Economics/ Internation Relations /Engineering or related fields is required. A first level university degree in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, or data science programs is desirable.

Fluency in oral and written English is required.

Knowledge of French is an asset.
