Overview

This role focuses on the implementation of enterprise risk management across the global Secretariat, with a strong emphasis on digital risk management solutions and data analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of assigned programmes/projects related to the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
  • Performs consulting assignments by planning and facilitating workshops and assisting in developing action plans.
  • Researches, analyzes and presents information gathered from diverse sources.
  • Assists in enterprise risk management policy development.
  • Undertakes survey initiatives, designs data collection tools, and analyzes responses.
  • Prepares written outputs such as background papers, analysis, and sections of reports.
  • Provides substantive support to meetings and conferences.
  • Undertakes outreach activities and conducts ERM training workshops.
  • Supports activities to define a comprehensive ERM framework.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of ERM methodology and practices.
  • Participates in missions and provides guidance.
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provide insights using data visualization methods.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Required Experience

A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise risk management, project or programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience in applying enterprise risk management frameworks in conjunction with system-based tools, including ERP (e.g. SAP/Umoja) or similar platforms, is required. Experience in data analysis and reporting, including the use of dashboards, as well as supporting user adoption, training or knowledge management tools (e.g. SharePoint), is required. Two years or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, management or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
