Overview
The Project Communication Assistant will contribute to the overall communications for two UNESCO projects, focusing on adaptation and resilience in Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the execution of communication strategies for two projects.
- Design, plan, and review Terms of Reference for project promotion.
- Identify media partners and prepare a mailing list with an engagement plan.
- Oversee the publishing of six-monthly newsletters.
- Maintain project websites by drafting and uploading content.
- Propose and implement a social media strategy.
- Develop, shoot, and edit short videos about project-related topics.
- Accompany project partners in the field to obtain new footage and photos.
- Oversee graphic designs for promotional materials.
- Coordinate knowledge management, ensuring preparation of publications and reports.
- Undertake any other required task consistent with professional qualifications.
Required Experience
At least two years of relevant professional experience in communication and information, public advocacy, marketing, PR, website development, social media or other relevant fields.
Qualifications
Completed higher education degree in mass communication, media studies, journalism, or in studies with a specialization in information and communication technology and knowledge society issues.
