Overview

The ICRC Logistics Unit seeks a competent Buyer for Medical Items to support the procurement process for medical and health-related items in Kyiv. The role is to fulfill requester demands, ensuring timely and qualitative procurement in compliance with ICRC standard procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze purchasing requests
• Determine the best source of supply
• Analyze and validate sourcing options
• Prepare and send requests for quotation (RFQ) or tender (RFT)
• Provide awarding recommendations
• Prepare selection tables
• Work closely with other logistic divisions and internal customers
• Prepare contracts for goods and services
• Follow-up on purchases and deliveries
• Ensure record keeping for compliance
• Conduct market surveys and analysis

Required Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management. Experience in the medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical sectors, or equivalent fields is an asset. Good knowledge of the local market.

Qualifications

High School Diploma. Certifications in the relevant field, particularly in medical or health-related disciplines, is considered as an advantage.
