Overview

The Evaluation Consultant will support UNICEF ECARO, Country Offices, and government counterparts in assessing feasibility, designing, managing, and implementing experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations. The role will strengthen national evaluation capacity on counterfactual evaluation methodologies and provide technical guidance.


Key Responsibilities

Support UNICEF ECARO, Country Offices, and government counterparts in assessing the feasibility, designing, managing, and implementing experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations of government interventions. Strengthen national evaluation capacity on counterfactual evaluation methodologies. Provide technical guidance to Country Offices and government counterparts in the design and implementation of high-quality, robust strategic evaluations using quantitative methods.

Required Experience

At least 8 years of professional experience in the management and conduct of quantitative evaluations, empirical research using impact evaluation and other quantitative methodologies at national and international level.

Qualifications

Master's degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, or another relevant field is required.
