Overview
International consultant to provide capacity building on strategic communication, social media, public speaking, media presence, and personal branding for women in public leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop learning modules/methodology on strategic communication and social media, public speaking and media presence, and personal branding.
- Deliver up to 6 training sessions for up to 25 participants each.
- Develop pre- and post-training questionnaires assessing participant knowledge.
- Develop a Final Report on the assignment, summarizing lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of proven experience in designing and delivering methodologies and training programmes on strategic communication, political communication, public speaking and/or media training, particularly for public figures, senior officials or women in public leadership roles.
- Experience in social media strategy, digital content creation and personal branding, including hands-on coaching of leaders on their digital presence.
- Experience in developing curricula, facilitation guides and interactive methodologies (media simulations, video exercises) for executive-level or senior public officials would be an advantage.
- Experience addressing online harassment, hate speech and hostile communication targeting women in public life would be an advantage.
- Experience working with parliaments, governments, local authorities, or international organizations, including the UN, would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science, or other related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Certification in media training, communication coaching, or facilitation would be an asset.
