Overview

Consultant to support training, facilitation, and audiovisual content production with youth participants, contributing to the development of territorial narratives aligned with project objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement training activities in audiovisual production with youth participants.
  • Provide technical support to young people in the conception, production, development, and creation of audiovisual content.
  • Provide technical guidance on the use of tools, equipment, and techniques for audiovisual recording, editing, and post-production.
  • Support youth in creating audiovisual content using accessible tools and available resources.
  • Contribute to the integration of educational activities and audiovisual production processes.
  • Monitor and systematize the content production process.
  • Support the organization and implementation of final exhibition and dissemination strategies.
  • Provide technical support for the final editing and sound balancing of selected audiovisual content.
  • Produce and organize audiovisual records of project activities.
  • Prepare technical reports, systematized records, and other documents.
  • Ensure activities and produced content align with UN-Habitat principles.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in audiovisual production, communication, institutional design, digital media or related fields is required.
  • Experience in producing audiovisual content (video, photography, podcasts, and digital media) in Brazil is required.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, training activities, or working with youth is required.
  • Experience with educommunication is desirable.
  • Experience in social, educational, or community-based projects is desirable.
  • Experience in projects related to sustainability, climate change, or territorial and social development is desirable.
  • Previous experience within the UN System is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Production, Cinema, Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, Design, or related fields is required, or additional three (3) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
  • Postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Production, Communication, Educommunication, Participatory Methodologies, Digital Media, Design, or related fields is desirable.

Fluency in Portuguese is required.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of English and/or Spanish is desirable.

Remuneration
LICA 2 (part-time 82%) - BRL: 32.000,00 (Total net amount). UNOPS Salary Scale. Payment schedule: 15% upon delivery and approval of Product 1 (BRL: 4.800,00), 30% upon delivery and approval of Product 2 (BRL: 9.600,00), 20% upon delivery and approval of Product 3 (BRL: 6.400,00), 35% upon delivery and approval of Product 4 (BRL: 11.200,00).
