INFORMAGIOVANI ETS Inventare Insieme (onlus) Volunteer opportunity: Supporting activities in a youth center

Inventare Insieme runs a youth centre to provide opportunities and support to young people aged 6-30. The volunteer will support the daily activities of the organisation aimed at the children, teenagers and young people in the youth centre. This will include: assisting with music and/or media labs and producing audio-visual materials to promote the work of the association. Volunteers will also take part in regular workshops on coding (digital skills), drawing, dance, theatre, environmental education and active citizenship; help with events at the Youth Centre during Christmas, Carnival and Easter; help to accompany children and young people on activities outside the centre. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Accommodation: the flat, shared with other international volunteers, consists of 3 double-rooms, common living room, kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms. This is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Accommodation is well connected with public transportation. Local transport: bus pass for the whole duration of the volunteering. Individual support: monthly cash allowance (Euro 6,00 per day) Food: monthly cash allowance (Euro 150,00 per month) Travel costs: based on ESC guide according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator. Training during the activity - On arrival training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by Italian National Agency. - Online Linguistic Support (Italian language). Participant profile - age between 18 and 30 years - strong motivation for working with kids - ability to team working, open-minded, sociable and flexible - ability to play instrument (guitar, drum, piano etc) or ability to produce audio-video material - creativity and artistic skills (drawing, sculpture, theatre, dance etc) - adaptability to different cultural context - ability to use 3D printer is welcome
