UNICEF Procurement Notice: Procurement, Preparation, Packaging and Delivery to UNICEF of Children's Literature Books under the "Libraries Without Walls" Initiative
UNICEF Angola, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and other strategic partners, implements initiatives aimed at strengthening foundational learning and promoting reading habits among children through the expansion of access to diverse, age-appropriate and culturally relevant reading materials. As part of these efforts, UNICEF supports the Libraries Without Walls initiative, which aims to expand access to children's literature in schools and other learning spaces, particularly in communities with limited access to educational resources. The initiative contributes to the objectives of the National Reading Plan (PLANALEITURA) and to the promotion of literacy, reading for pleasure and the creation of learning environments that foster children's development. To this end, UNICEF intends to procure, prepare, package and receive children's literature books for subsequent distribution to beneficiary schools.
