Overview
The intern will support the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in its mission to protect human rights. Daily responsibilities will vary based on the intern's background and may focus on human rights and migration, climate change, early warning, or communication.
Tasks Summary
- Monitor and analyze human rights developments and trends in South-East Asia
- Research and draft internal and external notes and reports
- Prepare daily news updates on the human rights situation in the region
- Support engagement with UN human rights mechanisms
- Assist with organizing workshops and seminars
- Maintain and develop information and resource tools
- Update website information
- Participate and take notes in meetings/conferences
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualification Requirements
- Student in the final year of a first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent
- Completed a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent
