Overview
The role involves research consultancy for UNICEF Innocenti's Gender, Rights, and Protection unit, focusing on informing and accelerating the elimination of harmful practices through evidence generation and synthesis.
Tasks Summary
- Undertake mixed methods and implementation research on cash transfers and social protection interventions.
- Conduct mixed methods research on adolescent girls, gender, health, and harmful practices, including systematic and scoping reviews.
- Provide technical research support on harmful practices, including methodological design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Facilitate research workshops, engage with stakeholders, and develop knowledge translation tools.
Experience Requirements
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative evaluations of cash transfer and social protection interventions in low- and middle-income countries.
- Experience in evaluating health and development programmes targeting adolescent girls, with a strong focus on gender.
- Experience conducting systematic and scoping reviews of mixed methods research.
- Experience supporting country and regional-level research on harmful practices.
- Skills in facilitating research workshops, engaging with stakeholders, and developing knowledge translation tools.
